Kalo Skribi is still evolving — which means it’s private, powerful, and very much a work in progress. You’re likely one of the first to try it, so thanks for being here. We’re building for scale, but never at the cost of your privacy. Here’s what to know as we grow...

• ¹ We don’t store your passwords — period. If you choose to add a passphrase for extra protection, it’s never sent to a server or retained in any way. It lives and dies in your browser session. Lose it, and the encrypted text stays locked forever.
• ² Some metadata may be recorded — but never your message. We may track the creation date, encryption method, and tool used (e.g. Kalo Skribi, Eidolon) to improve features and analytics. But we will never retain your actual message, passphrase, or decryption result.
• ³ Kalo Skribi is modular by design. We're building in support for encrypted emails, SMS, and more — with options for varying levels of protection, including PINs, time-limited access, and hidden fallback texts. Some of these features may still be rolling out.
• ⁴ Encryption happens entirely in your browser. Your plaintext never leaves your device unless you choose to share it. No cloud processing, no hidden storage.
• ⁵ We care about user trust If we ever introduce a feature that affects privacy, you'll get clear notice, updated terms, and the ability to opt out.
